Yup. You heard right!

Welcome back from Moab. And welcome back to real life.
I was lucky enough to get to spend the weekend in Moab. I seriously just love jeeping! It gives me and teaches me so much.

Now that I'm home things have to get real. Very real.
Maybe you've heard a rumor going around that I may be doing Miss UVU? Well guess what, it's not a rumor, it's the truth. And the truth is that I'm scared to death! This is completely, 100%, out of my comfort zone! But what's a better reason than that? I want the world, but nothing comes from doing nothing. So yeah, I'm gonna give it a go.
There is so much that goes in to this. Along with pageant this and pageant that also comes school, dance, and teaching! I'm already feeling overwhelmed, and the hardest parts haven't event started yet! But lucky am I, that I have some of the most supportive people and teammates in my life. 💜

Boy am I terrified for what lies ahead, but I am also so excited for this journey I am about to begin. No matter what comes of it all, I know I will be better for it. Whatever is supposed to happen will happen, all I can do is just do my best and God will take care if the rest.

Goodnight lovelies!

Talent Obsession.

I am obsessed with talents. I strongly believe in that if you have a talent it is to be used not wasted. They should be shared with the world. Give what you have to better other people lives. Everyone has something to give. My grandpa once said "Don't use your talents to bless your own life, use then to bless the lives of others."

I love to watch somebody's dream come true. It is the most magical experience. Especially when it comes to a talent that they possess. Talent shows are my favorite. Singing, dancing, Americas Got Talent. People are just so wonderful and so inspiring.

I dance (wait really?), not just because I love it, but because I want to give something to others. I want to tell a story, I want to make people feel something, I want to inspire someone. You don't have to be the best, you just have to know how to use what you have.. to touch, to inspire, to change someone's life for better. Dance is talent in a small window. A talent that you only have so much time to share.
Singing is a talent I wish I had. Probably more than any other. I am obsessed with people who can sing. A song, a lyric, a voice, can fix or fit in with any need. It's an entertainment talent that can last a lifetime, can be used for a lifetime.

Talents don't just come from the entertainment stand point either. The ability to understand, care, make others laugh, cook, fix things, raise money for those in need, or grow a garden.
The talents in this world are endless. And what's better than being able to share and teach others what you have learned. Do what you love, with passion, and learn how you can pass it on.
